Family therapy

Our collaboration is based on the principles of trust, acceptance and confidentiality.

A family therapy session

In family therapy, we invite the whole family or some members to sit together and process the situations that have come up in their life and may be hard to overcome. A family may be defined in biological, social or other terms. We examine how members interact and relate with one another within the family system and we address those areas which may make family relationships dysfunctional, deprived of joy and love, and challenging to deal with on a daily basis. The purpose is to understand the roles, responsibilities and expectations that have been assigned to the members, acknowledge each member’s diversity and unique personality, and consider alternatives for healthier communication and living together.

There is no fixed agenda. You introduce the topic you wish to process and we decide together what the best course of action for you and your family is.
